Overview

Clinician burnout, moral injury, and disengagement from professional advocacy are reaching crisis levels across the healthcare workforce. While wellness initiatives often focus on personal resilience, growing literature and consensus recognize the urgent need for systemic, culture-changing strategies. Revitalizing Medicine through Advocacy, Activism, and Social Media is a multi-disciplinary CME course designed for physicians and advanced practice providers who want to take an active role in shaping their professional environments, improve patient care, and foster meaningful workplace change.

Through expert-led lectures, panel discussions, and interactive workshops, this course will explore how healthcare providers can leverage advocacy, social media, and professional organizations to address workplace challenges, assess equity, and promote well-being. Attendees will gain tools to identify and act on system-level barriers in their clinical spaces, develop a professional advocacy voice, and build networks of support. Key topics include social media professionalism, health policy engagement, reducing pharmaceutical costs, navigating burnout and moral injury, and advocating for underserved patients. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of how to transform frustration into action and build a more equitable, sustainable healthcare system—starting with their own practice.

Registration
