Objectives
At the conclusion of this series, participants should be able to:

  1. Summarize the patient perceived benefits of virtual coaching classes in managing disorders of the gut-brain interaction.
  2. Identify the underlying physiologic changes in patients with obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and how cardiac myosin inhibitors impact this.
  3. Describe perioperative glucose management challenges in bariatric surgery patients, particularly in the context of steroid administration.
  4. Assess the safety of glargine-dexamethasone co-administration, including rates of hypoglycemia, and hyperglycemia.
  5. Describe how workflow optimization in the operating room may improve efficiency and healthcare value.
  6. Define how recovery trajectory and postoperative timing influence the diagnostic yield of esophagram after hRAMIE and apply recovery and timing guided strategies to optimize outpatient leak detection.

Grand Rounds is fee-free. Enrollment in the series is required to obtain credit.
