At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Describe the overall state of ergonomic concern in several surgical fields
  2. Discuss the impact of poor ergonomics on overall health, well-being, and patient care
  3. Explore tangible interventions that can be applied to improve ergonomic conditions
  4. Consider the role of enabling technology in improving ergonomic conditions
