Dr. Nwawka is a musculoskeletal radiologist trained at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York. After her fellowship, she joined HSS as faculty and now serves as the division chief of musculoskeletal ultrasound. Dr. Nwawka has particular clinical and research interest in musculoskeletal intervention, brachial plexus and peripheral nerve imaging, regularly lecturing on these topics and contributing to imaging literature. She is also principal investigator on several grant-funded studies on peripheral nerve imaging and musculoskeletal ultrasound.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Review common ultrasound-guided interventions in the musculoskeletal system
  2. Discuss updates in orthobiologic therapy using ultrasound guidance

Grand Rounds is fee-free. Enrollment in the series is required to obtain credit.
