Overview

Online preregistration is closed. Space is still available and attendees may register on site starting at 7:00 a.m. For questions contact the Virginia Mason CME department at (206) 341-0142.

This endoscopic sinus surgery course will focus on sinonasal, orbital, and skull base anatomy. While common clinical applications will be discussed for all techniques and approaches reviewed, this course is specifically designed for practicing general otolaryngologists, otolaryngology residents, and rhinology fellows who wish to improve their endoscopic surgical skills and gain a better understanding of the complex three dimensional anatomy of the sinonasal and skull base area.

The faculty is comprised of experienced Rhinologists and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgeons from across the country. They will share simple to use and reliable endoscopic anatomical landmarks for even the most complex cases. This weekend course is unique as it provides significant lab time at a reasonable cost: over eight hours of hands-on lab time assures ample opportunity for the participant to practice all surgical techniques covered and to interact directly with the faculty. There will be a maximum of two participants per fresh cadaver, live dissections as well as scopes, instrumentation, microdebriders, drills, balloons, video and image guidance. This is a great “refresher” course for the general otolaryngologist who currently performs endoscopic sinonasal surgery from the most basic to the most advanced.
